Steps to the right of the Wellington lead up to a front carpeted open plan area with seating through and DJ equipment that was supplying some 1970/80s music in the front right corner. The laminate floored bar runs across that rear where a double sided bar counter serves this front area and a rear bar that the barmaid was cleaning so I stayed in the front. However, I did spy some high tables and a dartboard through the back bar. Holts keg is available, unfortunately the five hand pumps across the two bars were all unused. To the right is another carpeted area with banquettes under the right-hand windows. The service was friendly, but I wasn’t very impressed with the actual pub.

Another estate style pub in the area. Basically 2 areas with a square main lounge and a smaller area to the right. A Holts pub so expect Holts Bitter and Mild on. It was pleasant enough without being great.

The Wellington Hotel is a 70s built pub that is situated next door to the Dog and Partridge and is one of three Joseph Holts pubs on this short stretch od road.
The pub is accsessed by steps at the side of the pub, once inside there was a fairly large bar which was a decent enough room and a smarter lounge,i had a drink in the bar.
The pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts mild and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts bitter.
I was happy enough having a drink in this pub.
