A nice looking stone-built cottage type pub with the usual modern make over inside, which could have been anywhere. Having just come from the Sam Smiths pub with it's tasteful recreation of a farm kitchen, the bland everytown feel of this pub was a bit of a let down. It's pleasant enough, though, with its brass-railed bar - and it's good to see some real ales available: three hand pumps with Old Speckled Hen (doubled up) and Golden Sheep. Not terribly inspiring, but the beer was in good condition and at least it wasn't Deuchars IPA.

The Old Harrow is a decent looking stone built pub in the middle of Grenoside.
Once inside this pub it had been done up and the pub was smartish and fairly comfortable and there was also one real ale on the bar this was Deuchars IPA not my favourite drink but it was ok for what it is,ive been in a lot better pub but at least it had a real ale on.
