Recent very smart refurbishment of an old roadside house just outside the village, on the bus route towards the Hope Valley. Although there are four handpumps, only one had any beer. This was a house beer which I was informed came from a brewery outside Chesterfield. The emphasis here is very much on dining rather than drinking, but although the wine was fiendishly expensive to my eye, the beer was well kept and similar in price to other pubs locally.
