Much larger than it looks from the outside. There's a small front bar and much larger tap room to the rear with a pool table and dartboard. Lots of quotes around the walls in the small spaces not covered in TV's, there's loads of them! There's even 2 TV's in The Gents! 2 handpumps on the bar, but only Doom Bore actually on, it was in decent nick though and at £2.70 was cheap enough. There's karaoke and/or live music at weekends. There's a note on the wall stating that they have 16 CCTV cameras installed at the insistence of the police. Make of that what you will, but it was peaceful enough on a Friday, early evening.

Spacious traditional roadside pub situated just outside the town centre that seems larger on the inside than it does from the outside. Called in one lunchtime and purchased a pie and a pint at a very reasonable price.Although there was not an abundance of guest beers this was made up for by the helpfulness of the local clientele,who gave me directions to my next ports of call.The gents toilets were having a facelift and yet uncomplete but i did notice a couple of TV screens embedded in the wall so you dont miss a minute of any sports coverage.I was cordially invited to peruse the ladies loo where work had finished,and although not a frequent observer of Ladies toilets thought the refurbishment was excellent.Quite liked it here had an enjoyable half hour.
