Bucking Fastard left this review about Waggers
On the ground floor of a small maltings, this freehouse has the feel of a working mans club. The bar runs along a rear wall and there are two bare brick arches along it's length.Opposite and slightly raised is the seating areas ,divided by bare timberwork while at one end there is a large brick fireplace.A tv was screening terrestrial sport, and the regulars seemed to have spent a long time here before I pitched up.
Away from the bar there was a display cabinet with many trophies of the "Waggoners Club on Tour",while further back there is a large darts room with no less than four boards,it looked like a serious darts venue. At the bar there were two real ales available,GK Abbott and Buntingford Highwayman (£2.80 in fair condition) besides the usual keg dross.
A blokes boozer and a little downbeat, but quite cheap so I am sure it has it's a solid core of supporters.
