A big old community pub, heavy on the sports front with 2 pool tables, darts and numerous TV screens. One side has low tables for eating while the rest is mainly tall tables and stools. It was teasing a bit on the beer front, with a row of pumps proclaiming Arundel Sussex Gold, TT Landlord and Old Speckled Hen but on closer inspection they were all labelled 'coming soon' which left a very indifferent IPA. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit but it seems to fulfill its purpose.

The White Hart is a modern diner-type pub, a cross between a JDW (but without the discounts or beer range) and a Beefeater (wihout the cardboard food). It is entered through a single, hangar-sized door, and the single large bar is furnished with over-sized chairs that are really not that comfortable. The loud jukebox, tv screens and gaming machines are all considerately turned to a volume such that the hearing impaired can enjoy them too. The staff are friendly enough, and the clients were mainly the younger element. There was one ale on - GK IPA - which was not well kept but was cheaply priced. I would drop in for a cheap drink and a snack if passing, but I wouldn't want to spend an evening here.
