A two roomed pub with no facility to move between the rooms. The upper room is the best preserved with a fantastic ceiling. The lower and largest room is much more utilitarian with some standard dining tables and chairs. 4 handpumps on the bar, but only two on, serving Draught Bass and Abbeydale Deception. The DEception was a well kept beer. We got talking to the landlord & landlady who are only temporary at the moment, but they would like to take the pub on in the longer term dependant on Enterprise. Best of luck to them. We'll pop in to see how they're getting on next time we're in Chesterfield.
