We used to come here in the mid-1980s as due to a loophole, you could get a drink here out of hours on a Saturday but not Sunday lunchtime. I recall a friend one Sunday asking for a pint. "It's not time" replied the French waitress. "Ok" said my friend, "I'll have a half!". Happy days.
