Cromwell's Tap House is a tile floored bar with a counter up the left-hand wall and a central support with a television that faces high tables to the front and another television that faces standard tables and chairs to the rear. Both were off while some background music played during a recent midweek afternoon visit when I was the only customer. Exposed wooden beams run across the white painted ceiling and an ever-expanding collection of old clips, both keg and cask, are found on the walls and around the bar. Mainly craft keg was available alongside three hand pumps that were drawing Stonehouse Brewery’s Flipside as well as Marble Brewery’s Pint and a very nice drop of Noble Jester. I found the service to be very polite, so if I lived locally, I’d use this place every now and again.
