Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Duck

Community boozer, with a busy pool table in the plain corner bar and a smaller but more comfortable, refurbished lounge to the right of the main entrance door. No real ale of course, and only a basic keg selection, so a quick Worthington's (£3.60) before moving on.

Update: As it was really, although I went in the front room which does have a pool table. Other than the basic tap stuff there was Pravha lager, which I tried.

March 2010: A white painted corner pub, as shown in the pictures, but with a large brick extension with small patio at the back used as a music venue.

The interior has three rooms - the two in the more 'traditional' part of the pub were all dark, but i could see darts and a pool table in the one room. The third room was the extension and was a little like a church hall or something, so i assume the bands play here. The decor was red and peach, with white ceiling and it had Vettriano prints and some good film posters on the walls; including Scarface and Metropolis. There was a wood floor and there was MTV on - a bit loud, but i guess it is a music venue! The service was ok, the clientele mixed.

Beer; basic, no real ale, all tap stuff, without a MILD. I had a coke.

The absence of anything really to drink would mean the i personally wouldn't want to comeback. If you like your keg stuff, i could imagine it would be a decent little venue
