Wetherspoons clone pub in centre of Ormskirk, not proving particularly popular on market day to my surprise. three real ales were all of the Marstons empire at decent enough value. The island bar includes barista coffee facilities and a pizza oven. I found it a dull pub, but pretty harmless.

This is now called The Market Cross. A large open plan pub with a raised eating area to the rear. Seating stretches around the servery and there is a sunken area to your right on entering. 4 handpumps are available. Popular with bellyaching kids of an afternoon.
