Andy Ven left this review about Lion Hotel
Pub consisting of bar and pool room and a separate bar lounge. The walls were stone, the floor adjacent to the bar area was wooden but there was red carpet at either end of the room. The was a wood burning stove at one end, set in a stone fireplace with a flat screen TV above and a dart board to the side. There was a small open fireplace at the other end of the pub which was lit because it was cold outside, despite it being late May.
The pub was a bit tired looking, it had a basic feel about it and there were a few too many dog hairs on the benches but it seemed to be on its own locally in serving pub food at lunchtime so in that respect it was a welcome port in a storm.
Cask ales were Brains SA Gold, Hobgoblin and Everard’s Tiger.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Lion Hotel
Traditional village pub in the historic centre of Harlech. Two real ales on, including a reasonable pint of Flowers Original (which I haven't seen anywhere for years).
