No cask. Keg offering of Carling, Madri, Peroni, Stella, Wingman, Guinness, dark fruits SB, Inch's.
Popular Harvester. Bar counter is to the right of the entrance, initially tiled, then bare boards, apart from a tile skirt along the bar counter. Seating for the bar comprises a few tall tables between the entrance and the bar counter and opposite the bar counter, with a couple of regular tables served by regular chairs and a small corner fitted banquette. There is a larger booth table the other side of the far end of the bar counter that isn’t laid for diners and so presumably available if a large group of drinkers turned up at this obvious destination drinking hole! No screens and no piped music, just the chatter of diners. The pure dining areas are large and expansive all around the bar counter and there ample outside dining areas also available.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Harvester The Beech Hurst
Substantial Harvester chain pub / restaurant, but it does at least have a couple of noteworthy features. Firstly, the rear terrace backs directly onto Beech Hurst park with no boundary fence so youngsters can go off and play without disrupting other visitors, and it has a continental-style sunken courtyard dining area with a colonnade on all four sides. That aside, it's all dull stuff inside, including the keg-only draught beer selection, so I had a quick Peroni (£3.35, half) in the Spring sunshine.

This is a huge Harvester, in fact I think it is the biggest one I’ve been in and it was very busy on a Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago. The bar, to the right of the entrance, is stocked with standard and premium keg. This bar faces a huge square open plan seating area and then there is more seating around to the right rear. Out the back there is seating next to some tennis courts, which it turns out are on Beech Hurst Gardens. This place serves a purpose, but I don’t love it so I’ll not be returning.
