Nice to see a separate bar area with a decent pub feel to it. Pool table and live sport. The lounge is more food led. Banks's Amber and Wainwrights on offer. I went for the latter which was decent. Happy to have called in.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Viaduct
Not hard to guess what the nearby landmark structure is, and that may be more interesting than this Marston's pub / restaurant... Actually, that's a bit unfair, because it has more of a community local atmosphere than one might expect. The separate bar (with a busy pool table) and lounge / dining area have both been given a semi-modern makeover at some stage, and there is plenty of outdoor patio seating too. Banks's Amber and Sunbeam (£3.85) available from two of the four handpumps on each counter.
