The Horns is a fairly formulaic pub with food, situated on the edge of the city (though surely less rule-bound than the almost adjacent Harvester). An extensive food menu is available at reasonable prices.

The drink offer, however, is disappointing with 4 pumps offering 4 different best bitters and not even macro craft keg making an appearance. Pride of place seems to be the prominent taps for Heineken and Moretti. Having said that, my Dartmoor Legend and Butcombe Best couldn't be faulted and both around £4.60, so they're clearly looking after the ale and getting it through the lines quick enough to maintain the quality as well as pricing it fairly for 2023.

In summary, then, while the beer was good and the service was fine, overall the pub failed to excite.
