Oggwyn Great left this review about Red Lion
Large pub on the old A5 , the main entrance is at the front into a large lounge , to the right is another lounge through an archway , to the back of the pub is a small bar area with TV and its own entrance , there is a beer garden to the rear and a detached anex for private parties , the car park is huge and across the road is the expanse of Bowring park . The place itself is a bit shabby , but the service was good and friendly , two ales on London Pride and the exellent Salopian Hop Twister , its OK in here
