After a period of closure, the present licensee and his family moved in in March this year and there are now three hand pumps on the bar (slightly hidden between two pillars). At the time of my visit there were two beers on: Three Tuns XXX and Wye Valley HPA, though the half dozen regulars were on lager or Guinness. The bar is in a long, narrow room across the front of the pub, with another room behind and up some steps, containing a pool table. The pub is pleasantly decorated and it seemed like a bit of money has been spent to address the problems mentioned by the previous reviewer. I hope they make a go of it.

Two room freehouse at the top of the main street , the main bar is to the left and another room up some steps straight on from the entrance , there are dartboards in both .
Friendly service and the locals were OK , no real ale just Carling , Worthy , John Smiths etc
Its a bit tired and rundown in here and the lack of any real ale marks it down
