Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about King's Highway
Large, edge of town Marstons outlet firmly aimed at the family dining market. Large 'L'-shaped bar with various seating areas. Anonymous, modern furniture and decor. Beer garden. Two banks of three handpumps, offering Pedigree, Hobgoblin and the seasonal Queen Bee.

The Kings Highway is a fairly modern pub that is situated on Derbys ringroad with a retail park close by and a travel lodge behind it.
Once inside the pub has got one large L shaped room, there are a couple of raised areas to the right and a carvery is located to the left of the bar,the pub is carpeted throughout and seemed quite nice and smart.
None of the tables were laid out but all had condiments on them,i would imagine that diners would go to the left side of the pub closer to the carvery.
This pub is a Marstons house and there were three real ales on the bar i had a drink Pedigree and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Wychwood Hobgoblin and Paddys Stout which was only £2.00 a pint.
I got in here before 12.00 when it was a nice relaxing pub to have a drink in but when i was leaving the diners were turning up in numbers.

A good pub to visit if you are passing the Kingsway retail park.
