A roadside pub in Brewers Tudor on the edge of Chesterfield. It was fairly quiet at the time of my visit, just before 2pm on a Monday. A few people were eating lunch, but I was the only one asking for a beer. There were two beers on the hand pumps: Rev James and Old Speckled Hen. I always swerve the latter as being too sweet for my palate, and my half of Rev James was in good condition. It is pointless complaining about a smell of fried fish in pubs like this, but I think it is reasonable to comment on tables not being cleared properly: I noticed crumbs not only on tables but chairs too.
