Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Angel Inn

Unappealing building, of the 1960s estate-pub type. Mixed single / two storey frontage, leading to a single room with a central bar counter. Pool table to the left, and an unlit seating area to the right. Basic furniture and decor, with a few patio seats out front. A Marstons house, but no real ale so I opted for a quick pint of keg Pedigree (£2.90) before moving on...

I did'nt like the look of this pub from the outside but once inside the pub was quite smart it had been knocked through to make a longish room that faced the bar.
There were no real ales on the bar only Mansfield Bitter as this is now a Marstons house,i was the only person in here at about 1.00 the tempory landlord said he was in this pub to build up trade so the brewery could get new tennants in.
I found this pub fairly comfortable just a shame there was no decent beer here.
