As described, it’s the hotel bar, up the marble stairs and turn right from the entrance. There are large picture windows at the front which give great sea views, and the furniture is as you would expect in a hotel of this type. The young barman was a little too supercilious for my liking, he certainly wasn’t keen on serving drinks. There was one handpump on the bar which had a reversed Seafarer clip on, but no alternatives were available in bottles, just megakeg. OK for whiling away an afternoon or for a funeral with a sea view, but not really that much fun.

Part of the Royal Beach Hotel [Best Western chain], nearly opposite South Parade Pier,

The web site is only useable in IE, yeah I know, poor page design, one can only hope the bar is better than the web design
