Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Half Penny Farm
A seemingly huge Farmhouse Inns outlet, next to a Holiday Inn Express hotel but most other customers must drive here from Oldbury or Warley? Anyway, the various, slightly split-level, seating / dining areas around the central bar and carvery feature the expected anonymous semi-modern furniture and decor, although there are quite a few tables in the front beer garden. Entirely food-led of course, but at least three real ales are offered: Doom Bar, Greene King IPA and the seasonal Un-beer-lievable (£3.00).

Soup Dragon left this review about One & Two Halves
A massive detached 21st century 2 for £10 family pub, eatery and entertainment centre. The place is in undressed brick and has a slight mock castle look, with a corner turret. It has a Whacky Warehouse, kids play area, beer garden and patio, where there are outside TV screens. If you go in the day, you have to pay parking (reclaimed in the pub) as it is next to a Premier Inn and new office block.
The interior is open plan with a couple of raised areas. The decor is the familiar mixed coloured walls, with grey, toffee and the occasional patterned wallpaper featuring and there is an undressed brick fireplace. The place is foody, so is set-up with dining tables, but there is a pool table, as well as a kid's grabbing machine available to play on and a few sofas as well. I didn't eat, so i can't comment on the food. There are some old photos on the walls and some prints, as well as a penguin style Blues top. There are TVs around and the music was general and at a decent level. The service was really friendly, the clientele mainly dining families, but it was early evening
Beer; tap stuff including a keg Spekky Hen - but no MILD and no real ale - i had a coke which cost £1.74!
No reason to go here really unless you are a family seeking some snap and have no care about beer!
