Nicos is a café bar with banquettes below a tiled and mirrored wall up the left and a long curved marble topped serving counter that supports premium keg and Neck Oil up the right. Fairy lights line the panelled front window and a disco ball hangs from the ceiling, this probably isn’t my sort of place at the weekend. During my midweek visit there was some background music playing from the 90s and the televisions were airing muted Sky Sports. At the rear are some steps up to a seating area which includes a couple of shell booths up the right. This place was a decent stop off, it’s just a shame that Foolham scored twice to defeat Brentford in the dying moments of the match so I now consider it to be unlucky.
