A peculiar pub which has had a fairly nasty refurb. The 'bar' side has high tables and stools and one non-functioning TV, with some unpleasant green paintwork and some quite horrible 'world map' wallpaper. The 'lounge' side is in an even more disgusting shade of turquoise, with plain tables and tacky chairs, generally set up for eating. No sign of any other entertainments, but there is also a huge beer garden behind, with multiple benches and a kiddy play area, which might be nice if it wasn't for the adjacent busy dual carriageway. The only saving grace was the beer, with three Timmy Taylors badged on handpump although only the Knowle Spring was on, with Boltmaker and Landlord clips reversed. Fair condition though.
