The television screens found throughout the Unicorn were showing football via Sky/BT Sport during my visit on Saturday afternoon. In the right hand side of this basic pub are a pool table and dartboard. The rounded left hand side of the bar is located down a few steps where the main body of seating can be found. The dance music in this section had been cranked up to try and attract the early Saturday night crowd. Whilst sitting in this area I noted the many football scarves that hang from the ceiling that left no doubt that this is a football geezer’s pub. The bar is stocked with a standard keg range and the three hand pumps were all unused. I didn’t see any food advertised. This wasn’t my favourite pub of the day.
