Not a pub in the traditional sense, but a bar within the Winter Gardens complex, it does nonetheless open out on to the road and is open to anyone. Opening hours do seem a little restricted though, with last orders being called at 9:30pm on a recent Thursday evening visit, even in peak holiday season, so it may be worth phoning ahead to check opening times if you are making a special visit.
The bar counter is to the left as you go in, and opposite this is a pool table. Further seating runs along the front of the pub, where there are full height windows making the most of the sea views. There is also an outside patio area for the warmer weather. A projector screen was at one end, although this was not in use, and there were also some large speakers and a few spotlights suggesting that some sort of entertainment may feature on occasions. At one end was what might loosely be described as a snug, which was somewhat more contemporary in appearance with blue carpet, leatherette seating and some artwork on the walls, although the suspended tiled ceiling like you typically get in offices or shops spoiled the look somewhat. The flooring elsewhere was pale tiles with a mottled effect, and there was an ice-cream freezer just inside the entrance door.
Unfortunately there were no real ales on tap, and in fact the only bitter of any description was John Smith’s Extra Cold. Ciders fared slightly better with Thatcher’s Gold, Strongbow and Strongbow Dark Fruit.

H20 in Winter Gardens is closed and may be called the View Bar. Tourist info in Winter Gardens not sure, but whatever it is won't open till the season starts.
