The Vernon Arms is in a nice setting and it looks quite a big pub from the outside but once inside the pub had a strange layout we walked in then went to the left and ended up going down a few steps to get to the bar, this was a smallish room and it was comfortable enough.
There were three real ales on the bar i had a drink of Hadrian&Border Legion Ale and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Pedigree and Hobgoblin.
