Large Pub, not far from the historic bridge. Opened out inside. Proper Job, Tribute and London Pride on cask. Usual Keg. Plenty of staff (possibly more than customers) meant we were quickly served and good honest pub food came within 20 minutes.
Proper Job in decent condition.

Will Larter left this review about The Swan Hotel
A fine, old, white-painted hotel with a classy inn sign. Inside it's been opened out, with boxed RSJs painted light grey, same as the bar counter. Booth seating has been fashioned from recycled timber, which may be environmentally friendly but not what you might expect in an old, white-painted hotel like this. Four hand pumps sit on the dark wood top of the bar, with three St Austell beers, but (sacrilege) I went for the beer from Yorkshire, just as a test of cellarmanship. This beer is seldom given the time to recover from its journey south, but this one had been carefully looked after (NBSS 3.5).
