This is very much an "Irish" pub. All the TVs, including a large pull down screen, were all showing the horse racing; the weekly sports matches advertised for Sunday were Limerick v Clare, and Down v Armagh, plus I also saw signs for Dublin Drifter, Happy Murphy's and something called Dun De Bheil. There's obviously no real, and I saw no sign of food on Thursday lunchtiime.

This was originally a four-room pub; the divisions are plainly discernible. The main bar on the right was originally two rooms, an archway on the left with concertina screening leads into another room, behind which, via an ornate arch is another room containing a pool table. The bar counter front is a simple matchboard affair. I guess this would originally have been a fairly cheaply fitted backstreet pub. The furnishings now comprise a couple of tall tables/tall stools, red plastic upholstered banwquettes with normal tables and chairs. It's all very straightforward.

This is a very ordinary locals' pub. Nothing wrong with it, although the unlikely addition of a well kept real ale would improve things, but I'm unlikely to visit again.
