Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The George & Dragon
Fine-looking inn overlooking the marketplace, with a distinctive carved stone sign above the entrance. Whilst the interior has been opened out to leave an island bar, the collection of different, small seating / dining areas retains some character. A few small tables can also be found out on the pavement. With three of the four handpumps in use, I found Wainwright, Pedigree and Ay Up from Dancing Duck.

The George and Dragon is a large three storey pub that is that is situated at the top end of the market place.
This pub use to be an Home Ales tied house with a few different rooms and their really nice beers on the bar.
The pub has now been opened out and we went in a largish room that had modern looking bare boards, the bar was to the right and there were three real ales on it we had a drink of Leatherbritches Ashbourne Ale this was a very nice drink that went down very well so we had a couple more, the other beers were Leatherbritches Hairy helmet and Pedigree.
We sat outside watching the world go by and revisited it later in the day seeing as the beer was so nice here.
