David Walton left this review about One Bar @ Mercure London Bloomsbury Hotel
Visited 28/07/25. Visited previously 07/09/22.
No cask. Just Peroni on draught plus a reasonable range of beers by the bottle and can in the fridges behind the bar counter.
The One Bar has its own entrance on the corner of the block with some regular tables and chairs out the front just off the busy pavement and road plus a few more at the side on a less busy stretch. Inside the bar counter is on the left-hand wall and has some tall fabric stools along its length. There are some round marble topped tables opposite the bar counter plus another one in the front window with a leather banquette on the wall to the front side of the bar counter serving a couple of square marble topped tables. There was a TV screen showing Sky Sports News on the wall opposite the bar counter. Up a couple of steps at the rear of the bar area is another bare boarded area with regular tables and chairs laid for diners. A more basic hotel bar compared to others (re) visited today.

Strongers . left this review about Deans Bar (Waverley House Hotel)
This is place is the bar of the Waverley House Hotel and it encourages non-residents to use the facilities. It is basically what you would expect from a hotel bar with stripped pine throughout and a slightly clinical feel which was added to with the corporate attitude of the barman. Fosters, Kronenburg, Heineken, Amstel, Strongbow and Guinness were the drink options with unsurprisingly no ale of any description being available.
Sky Sports is advertised outside, but oddly the couple of plasma screens were both off at 17:00 on a Saturday afternoon when the results programme was in full flow. There was a bit of background music playing and the other customers seemed relaxed enough, but I wouldn’t plan to go here again.
