Large mid-range pub-cum-eatery that had thrown the kitchen sink at Xmas when I visited. Better than expected interior, a number of discrete drinking areas including a larger raised section and quite cosy overall. Footy on the TV. Quite a good atmosphere inside. Better-than-usual rear smoking area. Unimaginative ale selection in Doom Bar and a passable Rockin Rudolf served up by a Tim Sherwood lookalike. 5.5
