No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, John Smiths, original SB, Carling, Fosters, K1664, Stella and Carling.
Long rectangular shop fronted venue. Carpeted throughout apart from a raised boarded area in the front to the left and slightly in front of the entrance. The bar counter is along the left-hand wall roughly mid venue and there are stools at the three sides of the counter with a ledge and stools along the right-hand wall opposite the bar counter. There were four TV's on the walls in the area in front of the bar counter with regulars occupying the tables around here watching the late afternoon racing. The area the other side of the bar counter felt a bit like a living room albeit there was a fabric banquette along the right-hand wall beyond the drinking ledge. An attractive fire grate was pride of place on the left-hand wall with a guitar resting on the mantelpiece with an old school wall mounted juke box in the far-left corner. There is a lot of framed stuff on the walls, including photos of regulars. Definitely a local's venue but I actually enjoyed the vibe of the place and the Guinness was rather good too.

Strongers . left this review about The Welcome Inn
This is a Shop converted Irish bar with bay windows. Standard lager, Strongbow and Guinness are available from a barman that looks a little confused when a stranger walks in, although he was very friendly. The smoking area is at the front making it a mission to get past the smokers hanging out of the door.
I'm not a big fan of listening to chart topping love duets whilst I relax so I didn't stay very long.
