A pub of 2 halves, both pretty good, one half a typical pub with plasma tv,s, pool tables, quiz/fruit machines and a loud,friendly atmosphere, the other half is a more relaxed and quiet affair, with a good selection of standard pub food (New Menu Started 14th Oct 08), reasonably priced and nice frienly staff make for a ideal place for an afternoon or evening out, Mondays sees The Monday Club for Lagers & Bitter priced at £1.59 all day(except bank hols etc), Tues Night Quiz and Wed night Curry Night with a Curry and a drink only £5.95,Bargain,Children Welcome until 9 p.m,Outside seating at front of pub if we ever get a sunny day!! and for the filthy smokers among you there is a covered area at the rear of the pub,Toilets nice and clean.
