Coopers is housed in an old CO OP store and now has the ive on the end of its outside lettering.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room which is bare boarded,the seating is pew type and normal tables and chairs,there is also a few tall tables and chairs.
There was a very good choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Great Heck Navigator which was a very nice well kept beer,the other beers i noted were Two Roses Mosaic,Roosters YPA,Oakells Bitter,Leeds Gathering Storm and Taylor Landlord.
The bar was very busy on my early Saturday evening visit with mainly younger upmarket type drinkers,i was still happy enough having a drink in this pub.

Originally the Co-Op, a subtle clue is in how the name is painted on its sign with “coop” bolder than the “ers”, tiled pictures of cattle and sheep still survive in the part that was the butchers shop. After closing in 1970 it had various uses, finally being a clothing warehouse before conversion to a Market Town Tavern. Drinkers in West and North Yorkshire will recognise the MTT ownership as a guarantee of quality and Coopers is not an exception. All the usual hallmarks are here mainly in Ian Fozard's trademark design values – stripped out Belgian style bar with European brewery adverts with the odd framed UK brewery ad' or collection of bottle labels, and a collection of guest beer pump clips near the counter – it's a style that works well for most people. The normal eight pumps of well kept ales, usually from Yorkshire, are here along with a couple of polypins of Cider and Perry rather than the usual dedicated pump. There is no compromise to the infantilism found in many pubs, this is where adults who appreciate high quality will go. Guiseley, like many small Yorkshire towns and suburbs, is quite poorly served for good pubs, MTT fills that niche admirably. MTT bars normally vary most in terms of the staff ranging from the formally professional through friendly and professional to the slightly confused and professional, Coopers are in the third category. Upstairs is the original function room, complete with dance floor and stage, now used as a restaurant and meeting room.
