Compared to what is around the immediate area this place feel like a pub. Its not great but it has a more of a pub feel to it than a lot of places here. 3 handpumps on the bar but only Thwaites Original on.

The Imperial is a narrowish Thwaites pub situated next door to Ma Kelly's North. On entry there is a neat raised area immediatEly to your left with the long bar to the right of the pub.At the bottom of the pub on the left there is a small area for a DJ and and even smaller stage in front of this.Although no great shakes in the real ale department I found this pub OK and was quite amused listening to the `old school`landlord reminiscing about Saturday morning flicks and refunds for returning empty bottles to the shops

The exterior of this pub with its very in your face sign shows live music and cabaret. According to the website http://www.thwaitespubs.co.uk/tobago-blackpool/ the place is well known for our popular live entertainers and drag DJs. My visit during the day was that inside is a tradional pub selling Thwaites beers.
