The Crown, Horsham

The Crown is a large L shaped pub located in the centre of Horsham town. In the left hand wall is a large inglenook complete with log burner. Standard tables and chairs are found throughout the pub and towards the right hand side are some high tables and chairs. I spotted at least one plasma screen that was showing muted rolling Sky News but I didn’t see any sign of Sky Sports, although the rugby Six Nations was advertised. There was some background music playing.
This is a Greene King run pub so it wasn’t surprising to see IPA, Abbot and London Glory alongside Harviestoun Brewery’s Bitter and Twisted. Available from keg was a standard lager range alongside Goose Island IPA, Amstel and San Miguel. Food is available every day from 11:00 until 21:00 and there are various meal deals throughout the week.
This isn’t a pub that I would go out of my way to revisit, but I have been in far worse town centre pubs.
