This is now called 8 Hoxton Square and is primarily a restaurant but one keg allows you to just have a drink.

Who’d have thought Hoxton would be home to one of the cosiest bars in London? Macondo has what other local haunts lack: it’s cheerfully furnished with local art and comfy armchairs, has helpful staff and serves well-made, well-priced drinks. The owners hail from Argentina and Mexico, and the Latin American influence is all over the menu- both for food and cocktails. The pisco sour is phenomenal. In fact, the drinks are the main reason to visit this tiny but homely bar. Escaping the Hoxton trendies comes a pretty close second, though
