Strongers . left this review about The Slug & Lettuce

This is a large Slug opposite the Gherkin so caters for office staff at lunch and after work. No real ale and only Peroni in amongst the standard draught. This was the only open place I found on my ill planned crawl of the area on a recent Tuesday evening - most places close at 21:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This is not a place I would plan to visit again, but the food is half price on Mondays for those interested.
