Vertigo has a small front bar with a counter up the left and a couple of tables to the right, it felt a little bit like take-away as I stood there waiting to be served while the two staff sat at the tables. I asked it they were open and one of them got up, to be fair he was friendly when his cogs started turning. After being served I walked to wards the rear where I was taken aback at how long this place is, stretching all the way back into the garden that is half covered by a marquee. I imagine the garden is a major draw during the summer, but I saw little on an October Wednesday evening to entice me back.

This bar is now called Vertigo, and has been for about 4 years. The bar area is at the front and down one step to another area, and a step to a third area, then outside to a pleasant drinking area leading to the river. There was music playing and they serve food. Truro's got talent will be held here next month. They serve wines and cocktails, but we enjoyed St Austell Tribute. They have some bottled beers from Rebel brewery. There is another lounge upstairs, but the toilets are up another set of stairs from there!!
