The Blue Bell is tucked away down country lanes. There are a number of small rooms at the front of the pub, with a larger room off to the rear left, which I think was being used by diners. A few local drinkers were congregated in the small front rooms that form the bar area.
When we arrived, Bass was the only real ale. However, the regular ale is usually Landlord, which was pulled through whilst we were there.
Pleasant enough place with a little character, but the welcome wasn't exactly warm.
