A large, one roomed pub which looks to have been refubished recently. The seating is all smart, brown, leather look stuff. Loads of TV screens all showing racing on my Friday afternoon visit. It's a very generic pub and is even cheaper than the nearby Brun Lea JDW, which probably explains the clientele, who could also do with a refurb. I just had a half of Fosters as there isn't any real ale, which was just £1.

A large pub with an L-shaped bar and lots of tellies. No real ale. Standard place.

Not altered much from its Whitebread days but more of a sports bar was busy with people watching the raceing called for old times sake
