Fairly large roadside pub with a single bar and a rear covered patio/beer garden at the rear.McMullens beers on tap.

The Rose and Crown is to the west of the town centre and it is on a fairly busy road.
This is a stone built pub that had one room inside this was quite smart and comfortable,this pub is a McMullens tied house and there were two real ales on here i had a drink of McMullens AK bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Country bitter.
I quite liked this pub.
