Grade II listed building and is probably the oldest pub in Yorkshire. It has also been run by the same family since 1963 and unusually holds a buffet one day a week which has been a family tradition. Along with the pork pie appreciation society who have meet ups in this pub.
The pub was busy on our visit with people out for a bite to eat and a lot of drinkers, who congregated around the bar area making it difficult to see the pumps. Hopefully in warmer weather they would be out in the courtyard in the front of the pub. All the young staff were doing a great job on this visit both behind the bar and serving out food.
Six handpumps with 4 in use, TT Landlord, Golden Best, Boltmaker and Vocation Bread and Butter. Prices in here were around the £4.80 a pint mark. The interior in here is amazing along with the furniture and open fires.

ROB Camra left this review about The Old Bridge Inn

A totally unspoilt village inn which dates from 1307 when it was originally a house. It's reached by crossing over the 16th century packhorse bridge over the river Ryburn which is part of the Calderdale Way. Three rooms on two different levels all with wooden beams and all served from the central bar. There was a roaring fire going in the grate when we called in last Wednesday after brewing a beer at Oates Brewery in Halifax. There are 6 handpumps which always serve Timothy Taylors beers plus a couple of guests. Oates sell their beer to this pub and the barmaid said that they would take a 9 of our beer as well! It's a great little pub and I'd call in more often if it wasn't so far away from home.

Another must find. So famous it doesn't even have a pub sign! This pub is full of history, situated on the old pack horse route accross the pennines next to the quaint little donkey bridge across the river from the church. The history lives on as the pub has had minimal alteration and so retains it's charm and character. No music, no gimmicks, just excellent drink, food and company. Home to the eccentric 'Pork Pie appreciation Society'.
