The New Inn is a decent looking stone built pub.
Once inside there is a single L shaped room with the bar facing on entry, the floor is part stone and bare boarded, the seating is normal tables and chairs to the front and tall tables and chairs and high bench seating to the rear, there were TVs showing cricket.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Trumans Rio Gold which went down well, the other beers were Taylor Landlord,Old Golden Hen and GK IPA.
I was quite surprised when i saw a young woman come in dressed as Alice from Alice in Wonderland but wearing a very short dress, this was the start of a pretty bizzar pub crawl down the Otley road road which was quite amusing.

Stone built pub modernised inside, basically one wide room at the front although with three distinct sections. The main bar has the counter with four pulls, Greene King IPA as it's one of their pubs, a beer badged as No Tick Bitter “specially for the pub – it tasted like most GK beers so I guess it was brewed and rebadged in Bury St Edmunds. The other two pumps had Black Sheep bitter and Taylors Golden Best, quality was fine and the pub has Cask Marque approval. This main room has stone flags and furnture that was modern in the 1980s, to the right is a snug like room and to the left a carpeted area set up for dining and it also has a big screen. At the side is a corridor housing a couple of machines and leading to a further dining area with a dart board. It is near the start of the Otley road run and a few nutters in fancy dress made a noisy appearance while I was there.
