A superb pub. The beer is from local breweries and always interesting and beautifully kept.
The food is home-cooked from fresh ingredients - I love the curries.
The pub is extremely friendly and the landlord welcoming. The top bar is particularly cosy: comfy sofas next to a roaring fire. A friend of mine who visited there recently for the first time said it was the best pub he had ever been to!
Highly recommended.
