A decent bar this one with a good range of local ales, service at the bar was friendly and efficient. I found this bar to have a nice relaxed atmosphere, with a mixed bunch of diners and drinkers, from walkers, shoppers and as Alan Mentions below, the bright young folk of Ilkley. Eight ales on handpump, so we went for the Electric Bear NZ Pale and Okells Manx Pale Ale.

Bar T'at is just up from the Lister Arms Wetherspoons.
Once inside you have to go up a flight of stairs, the room is oblong shaped and divided into two areas by a wall, the bar is in the right side, the floor is bare boarded, the seating here is some tall tables and chairs and pew seating plus some bench seating, the left side has normal tables and chairs.
There was a decent choice of real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Ilkley Tribus which went down well, the other beers noted were Oakalls MPA,Ilkley Mary Jane,Black Sheep bitter,Kirkstall Generous George,Taylor Landlord, plus one from Bradford brewery and one other i could not see properly.
The was packed on my Saturday afternoon visit with the bright young folk of Ilkley.
I would have prefered a visit here when less busy.

one of the first three Market Town Taverns and still a GBG regular, this shop conversion exhibits all the high quality hallmarks one associates with the group. The usual 8 handpulls of mainly local beers in spiffing condition and décor from beer and brewery enamelled signs. The entrance leads upstairs to the main bar which is split down the middle, to one side the bar counter and some seating, on the other tables and chairs. A spiral staircase leads downstairs to a cellar restaurant. The lyrics of Yorkshire's unofficial national anthem are written onto the walls . Outside is a slightly scruffy patio.
