In contrast with its dying neighbour, this place was rammed to the rafters and was in good form. Staple shaped interior with drinking to the right and formal dining to the left. A bit of character, with beams (presumed fake) and wood burning stove. Unexplained fancy dressed skeleton in alcove (see pic). Cross hatch leaded double glazed windows for that 80’s suburban feel. Two ales; W&E Guardsman (warm, pump tired) and Rebellion IPA (good). If both ales had been on good form I may have given a higher mark. 6.5
