Picturesque, flower-hung roadside pub with a brightly modernised interior but retaining beams and stonework. The bar is not huge, but has a separate opening into a games room containing pool and darts. Much of the right hand side of the pub is given over to restaurant use however, with intrusive steel serveries rather spoiling the picture somewhat. Outside there is a proper garden, as well as a few benches to the front. Beers are from St Austell (and Bath) and seemed fine.
