The Library is a large split-level student bar with a long serving counter up the left-hand wall where premium and mainstream craft keg options are available from the friendly staff. There’s a mix of split-level seating up the right where some stairs climb up to the floor above, but I didn’t venture up so not sure if it’s just the toilets or if there another floor of fun. At the rear is a seating area with high tables, and a photobooth, and steps lead down to split-level seating at the rear where two pool tables and a dart board are found in the right rear corner. Televisions throughout were airing muted motor racing on TNT Sport while music played in the background. Out the back is an Astroturf seating area that overlooks the river. I’d use here if I was a student, which was a long time ago, so I’ll not be returning, and I’ll definitely not be scaling the Drury Lane stairs up from the river again… my poor knees.
